The NVFB-WB from Tenmat is a highly compressible, A1 rated stone wool cavity barrier designed for demanding external wall systems. Tested to BS EN 1366-4, it features a specific fibre orientation that enables effective sealing even where irregular outer surfaces are encountered, such as behind lapped cladding.
In the event of a fire, the NVFB-WB delivers non-ventilated, full-fill fire protection to restrict fire spread in external wall cavities. It offers up to 120 minutes of integrity and insulation, and is suitable for a variety of applications including timber SIPS panels, masonry with DPC membranes, and both lapped and flat weatherboard cladding.

Tenmat FF102/50 Ventilated Cavity Fire Barrier is manufactured from a low smoke zero halogen high expansion intumescent material and covered with aluminium foil, for use horizontally within uninsulated, ventilated and drained cavities, up to 50mm wide. It allows maximum ventilation and drainage of cavities reducing the need for cavity trays or weepholes. Tenmat FF102/50 Ventilated Cavity Fire Barrier can be easily and quickly installed and no maintenance required after installation.

Zeroflame Treatment has been successfully tested to BS EN 13501, achieving B-s2,d0 on solid wood with a minimum thickness of 12mm and density of 400kg/m³.
Appearance & Overcoating
Zeroflame Treatment leaves no visible finish, achieving a natural appearance. Zeroflame Treatment should not be overcoated. Application of any product over Zeroflame Treatment may adversely affect the fire protection performance.
